The 20 Under 40 Awards Ceremony

Celebrating excellence in the Oil and Gas sector.

WEEN, Barrel Magazine, and UCMP joined forces to celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in oil and gas, honouring 20 trailblazing females under 40 at the 9th Oil and Gas Convention, 2024. The "20 Under 40 Awards Ceremony" was a memorable night, recognizing the ground-breaking contributions of these women who are transforming the energy industry.

Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, Minister of Energy and Mineral Development and Patron of WEEN, officiated the ceremony and encouraged the awardees to continue making significant strides in the industry. The year's recipients were:
